Each map is sculpted from the finest materials with precision using U.S. Geological Survey data. Water elements are artistically designed with multiple layers of pigmented epoxy resins. Each map is then cased in a hardwood frame that we make by hand. Maps can be displayed horizontally on a table top, or hung vertically on the wall.
Every map is delicately carved from solid hardwood. If desired, water features, like oceans, lakes, or rivers can be added using the best in pigmented resins. The texture of the map is true to scale, the maps are carved using actual survey data, so mountains, hills and valleys are prominent and feel like mountains, hills, and valleys.
